New Tut "Big Rockstars"

You will need:
My template # 6 below
I used a scrap kit by Honored Scraps called Rock It, Roll It available for purchase at Tresured Scraps here
Mask of Choice
Eyecandy 400 Gradient Glow filter
Penta.com Jeans filter
Xero Radiance filter
MuRa Meister Copies filter (for your name part)
A tube (or 2) of choice of a "rocker chick" lol.
I used one by Ismael Rac available for purchase at MPT

Ok, let's get started.....
Open Template 6, delete "melissaz creationz" layer
Layers>New Raster Layer
Flood Fill with white> Layers>Arrange>Move to Bottom
Copy & paste your tube, Layers>Arrange>Bring to Top
Select Frame Background (either one)> Selections>Select All>Float
Copy & paste tube onto canvas
Arrange to liking so that whatever you want in the frame is surrounded by the marching ants
Selections>Invert
Make that tube layer active> Cut
Repeat for other frame background
Now, select the part of the tube that's in the frame
Apply Xero Radiance filter to it using the default settings
Repeat for other frame/tube
Select frame background (either one)
Selections>Select All>Float>Layers>New Raster Layer
Flood fill with color from tube OR a paper from your kit
Repeat for other frame background
Select Frame (either one)
Flood fill with color from tube OR a paper from your kit
Apply EyeCandy 4000 gradient glow to the frames with these settings

Apply drop shadow with these settings:
Vertical:2
Horizontal: 2
Opacity 50
Blur 5
Select narrow rectangle background (either one)
Layers>New Raster Layer
Flood fill with color from tube
Apply the Penta.com Jeans filter with the default settings
Repeat for other narrow rectangle layer
Select rectangle frames, flood fill with black or a dark color from your tube
Apply Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow with same settings as above
Apply drop shadow with same settings as above
Repeat with the other rectangle frame
For the inner circle, Select>Select All>Float
Copy & paste a tube of choice OR a paper from your kit
Selections>Invert
make tube or paper layer active>Cut
If you used a tube, select tube, Layers>Duplicate
Image>Mirror
Select the frame to this circle
Selections>Select All>Float
Flood fill with a color from your tube
Apply Gradient Glow & drop shadow to it as you did above for the other frames

Select the star layer
Selections>Select All>Float
Flood fill with color fom your tube
Apply drop shadow with same settings as above
Select word art
Apply Eyecandy4000 Gradient Glow with settings above EXCEPT on the "color" tab, you want to click on the second box of color (on the sliding scale thing) & hit "remove" so that you only have one box with your color on the slider scale & you will need to choose a different color (one from your tube). Don't use black.
Select Large Circle
Selections>Select All>Float
Layers>New Raster Layer
Flood fill with a somewhat dark paper from your kit
Type in your name in a small font (I used Pixellette sz 6) as a vector layer
Layers>Convert to Raster Layer
Select the paper layer inside the large cicle
Selections>Select All>Float
Now select your text layer
Apply the MuRa Meister Copies filter with these settings:

Make sure the text layer is selected
Layers>Properties
Change the Blend Mode to Overlay OR play with the other Blend Modes to see which you prefer
Select Cirlce frame layer
Selections>Select All>Float
Repeat the same steps for this frame as you did for all the other frames (Gradient Glow & drop shadow)
Select bottom white layer
Flood fill with black OR color or paper from your kit & apply your mask
With Mask Layer selected, Layers>Merge>Merge Group
Add any embellishments, I used the music notes with Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow around them (same settings as above) & the strings from the Rock It Roll It kit
Add your copyright info & you're finished!
