There's The Door

My very first tut...ok, it's the 2nd ever & the other one I made AGES ago, so it doesn't count lol! So here we go......
This is what we'll be making (hopefully)
(Click on the pics to see full size. You will need to do this in order to see all the settings.)

You will need:
~Tube of choice.
I'm using a tube from Elias Chatzoudis, he is a ptu artist & you can download the tube HERE Please do not use his artwork without the proper license.
~ Scrap Kit of choice.
I used the Grand Opening Collab kit from Bitchin Scraps HERE is a ptu kit but any kit will work
~A mask of choice.
I used one by Wanda (9-5-08-1) but I don't know where I downloaded it at & I can't seem to find her when I google her. Sorry.
~Template of choice as long as it has a large circle.
I used a template by CakesCreations, you can get it HERE
~EyeCandy 4000-Gradient Glow filter
~MuRa Meister Copies Filter (for name)
~Fonts of choice
I used A&S Jiggy Roman (ptu, not supplied)
& Pixelette download HERE
~A very good working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro (I'm using 9)

Open template
Hit SHIFT D to duplicate, close original
Delete watermark layer
Image>Canvas Size> use following settings:

Layers>New Raster Layer> flood fill with white
Make sure the solid white layer is active>Layers>Arrange>send to bottom
Open papers you will be using in seperate windows
Go back to Template window
Re-arrange the small circles on the template so that they are at the bottom left of the larger circle
Click on any part of the template>Selections>Select All>Float
Layers>New Raster Layer
Flood fill this with paper of choice
Selections>Select None
Now, without clicking on anything else, go to Effects>PlugIns>EyeCandy400>Gradient Glow & use these settings:

Repeat the flood fill, new raster layer & gradient glow steps for all of the pieces of the template.
Click on the white background layer
Layers>New Raster Layer
Flood fill with a solid color from your tag
Layers>Load/Save Mask>Load Mask from disk
Choose mask & click on LOAD
Go to your layer pallette & find the mask layer (shold be the one that's highlighted)
Rt click on the mask layer>Merge>Merge Group
Now on your tag, move that Mask Layer to the right or left
Repeat Mask steps with another color from your tag & move that layer to the opposite side
Make top layer active
Insert tube into tag whereever you'd like.
Add any embellishments of your choice

Now for the text....
First your name inside the circle:
Make your big circle layer (the paper you used not the original) active
Click on your text tool
I used Pixelette sz6
Type your name as a vector layer
Layers>Convert to Raster Layer
Now make circle layer active again
Selections>Select All>Float
Make your text layer active
Effects>PlugIns>MuRa Meister>copies using the following settings:
Selections>Select None
Now for the text on the curve:
Layers>New Raster Layer
Click on your shapes tool
You want your color pallete to be foreground black & background nil
Draw out a circle a little bit bigger than the large circle on your tag, make sure it's as a vector
Now click on your text tool
This will create a "box" around your circle, arrange the circle to line up with the large circle on your tag
Now move the cursor to the right side of the circle. You should see a small curved line under the "A" icon
When you see this, click on the circle & a text box should show up
Type in "Don't Like My Attitude?" (or other saying) & change to "floating" in the upper left corner of your text box.
This should make your text follow the curve of the circle & it should have the marching ants around the text
Selections>Select None
You may have to adjust the font sz & position to get it to look just right, just undo & try again
Now click on your tag with the text tool & type out "There's the Door"
Change to "vector" in the upper left corner of the text box
Layers>Convert to Raster Layer
Use the Gradient glow settings from earlier to make the colored lines around both the curved text & the text across the bottom
Add all copyright info
Go to the layer pallette & "X" out the white background layer
Save as .png file
